Wander to the Wayside - Pt. 2 (Fall photos)

Georgia is beautiful this time of year. This is one season that you realize just how many trees we really have! Most of these photos were taken in the last two weeks, probably duplicates of ones I've posted in other seasons, all within a five mile radius of my house. (Some photos were taken on really overcast days, so I did have to lighten them.) (Also...enlarge for full effect!)(There's a part 1 to this, so when done here, go on to the next post, please!)

Seriously, you have to enlarge this place that's for sale ... I want it! (If it costs less than $100!)

This is the same pond as the third photo from the top ... what a difference a week of frost can make!

I thought I'd stumbled across a run of the mill junk yard stuck out in the country, then quickly realized that it was mostly classic cars.

I always enjoy your company, and look forward to more drives together! (geez, how corny can I get?) (If you keep scrolling, part I (my yard) is next.)

Yeah, I could live in the house that's for sale.

Looks like your countryside is ready to pop with even more color. I like the photo just above that with the leaves that look like feathers. I like them all. Didn't realize Georgia had such beauty. I've only driven across it on the freeway. Not a fair assessment.

I loved your photos. Do you think that this week is prime for color? It has really started to pop where I am in GA--next week may be better yet. I love how you can see the mountains where you are.

Oh it sure is pretty there! Growing up we visited family for Thanksgiving in Walnut Grove, Georgia, and I remember lots of red clay, digging for quartz crystals, and lovely fall landscapes. That farm for sale reminds me of some land in Couer d'Alene Idaho--nature totally rocks.

It is really beautiful there. The first photo makes me want to hop in the car and drive that road.
I love country scenes.
Is that place really for sale for under $100? or was it supposed to be $100,000?
The old cars do kind of look like a junk yard at first glance. But worth some money.
You've got to take more pictures of your area...it's really neat.
I want to move there right now. lol.

Linda, It took me a while to discover that blogger will send comments from your readers to your email address, regardless of how old the post is.
To set it up, clickk on DASHBOARD. Then click on SETTINGS. Click on COMMENTS. Scroll to the bottom of the screen. In the rectangular box labeled COMMENT NOTIFICATION, type your email address (linwin48@hotmail.com). Click SAVE SETTINGS at the bottom of the screen.
Good luck! After you've done so, you can test it by leaving a comment on one of your posts and you should receive an email immediately. One other thing - some email notifications will go to your SPAM folder. These tend to be from people who have their email addresses on their blogs. Those that don't list their email address will show as "no-reply comment." Sounds confusing, but once you do it, it will be very obvious.
Leave a message on this post or on my blog to let me know if it works. good luck!

*singing Georgia On My Mind*

Beautiful photos. I posted a dream house pic recently too, I think it's on my photo blog -- in the Flint Hills of Kansas. I love your dream house, the ideal horse property with that awesome white fence.

Have a great Sunday, and hope you're getting adjusted to the time change. Our dogs woke us up at 4:52 this morning. Ugh.
