Garrett with chair on head video

When I got my first digital camera a year ago, I didn't realize for several weeks that I could also do video with it. This video is me practicing. Unfortunately, once I figured it out and wanted to put it on my new blog, I couldn't figure out how to do that. It was the same situation as with the links - no one told me that you have to do these things in edit Html!!! Anyway, I found this when I was going thru my picture folders tonight, and laughed so hard at how stupid it is! And yet also endearing in it's stupidity. Hope you have a good laugh with it.

FYI, I'm just sure that my voice isn't that annoying, although I have to admit that I do tend to talk in a singy-songy voice with the boys. And I'm sure you'll be excited to know that now that I know how to upload videos, I probably won't be posting so many photos. And, I have several more old videos that I can upload before I do new ones. I know, I know, you can hardly contain your excitement!

Great voice my friend, Garrett is a real cutie.

I still don't know how to upload my videos so I think you have done very well and I am looking forward to more.....:-) Hugs

Isn't it maddening when you figure out you have video capabilities and NO ONE MOVES!!! I was told to first upload my video to Youtube and use the code for putting videos on my blog. I did it, but there's GOTTA be an easier way that doesn't take so long.

I haven't heard from you and I hope you're not hiding out.

The video is great. Those impromptu, just the kids being kids pictures and videos are the most fun to me. I did upload a video a week or two ago, but I have no idea how I did it. I just kept trying things and finally got it uploaded, but will be starting from scratch if I try again. My camera will do videos, so I will have to give it another try. BTW, you have a great voice.

Guess he didn't really want to sing zippidee-doo-dah, huh? Your voice does NOT sound sing-songey, well, except when you were singing. LOL

My Fujifilm camera had video capabilities on it, and I never learned how to use it until I was in Puerto Rico with my mom & sis... then I filmed my sis talking to one of the beautiful parrots in the hotel lobby. That was the only time I ever used the video.

Not sure if my Nikon has video, but I'm going to say no, because I think I remember reading that it doesn't... that's ok, I probably wouldn't use it anyway! :-)

What? Edit HTML. That button always scared me to death. Please post a technical how to for idiots. Does this make it easier?

Garrett - your grandmother is a little strange, but she can carry a tune.

What's a video?

I am soooo behind the times; but I do occassionaly figure out how to do something on my own that surprises the heck out of me.

I loved it when Garrett said "Cut!"

I love your rendition of zip a dee do da!

The thought occurred to me that you may not have seen my reply to your question... If the photo you saw was on a social networking site, you can join the site and send a personal message to the woman who looks like Alexandra. Otherwise, you can try pagesjaune.fr and search her family name if you know what city or région she's from. Even if you don't find her directly, you might be able to find a relative and I can translate a message into French for you or help you with a few phone phrases.

I haven't been by for a while, so I played catch up. I enjoy your pictures...and your singing voice with Garret too!

I liked this post very much. You have a nice voice and Garrett is very cute and I liked his "cut" at the end. Anazing what these kids do know.

I have the same feature on my camera, but not sound, I don't think. And I have a cell phone that takes pictures but I have never learned how. The store where I bought it said to come in and they would show me and I have never seemed to have the time to drop in. I have nothing if not time.

That sounds so stupid, doesn't it? By the way, thanks for stopping by my blog so loyally. I love to hear from you.

I'm not sure which I like best, the underwear on the head or the chair on the head. Anyway, he's already mastered the Michael Jackson hand over the camera lens, so he's halfway to stardom!
(Nice to hear your voice.)

I can't hear your voice because my stupid laptop is mute. But the video rocks!!

What an adorable toothless cutie your son is. And I loved hearing your voice. It makes you so much more real. Hardly annoying. Loved the zippidy do da serenade :)
